Dyker Heights Christmas Lights

Every holiday season, a six-block area of Brooklyn's Dyker Heights neighborhood is transformed into a dazzling display of Christmas lights. From 83rd Street to 86th Street between 11th Avenue and 13th Avenue, you'll see everything from inflatable Santas to motorized light shows. Prime viewing time is between 7PM and 9PM daily, through Christmas.

Catch A Ride On A Vintage Subway Car This Weekend

Every holiday season, the MTA brings a few vintage subway cars out of retirement and back into service. Sunday between 10AM and 5PM you can ride one up 6th Avenue between Queens Plaza and the Second Avenue subway stations. The vintage trains will hit all of the stops along the M line every 90 minutes or so -- including Herald Square, Bryant Park and Rockefeller Center.

All week, a mobile Downton Abbey truck has been roaming the streets of New York, passing out free tea and biscuits to fans along with the chance to take photos against the backdrop of Highclere Castle. Lady Gaga (have you heard of her?) is premiering a three-day pop-up exhibit opening this morning in a space at 417 West 14th Street. It's called ARTPOP Pop Up: A Lady Gaga Gallery and features many of her famous props and outfits. There will also be interactive experiences provided by Just Dance 2014 and Beats By Dr. Dre.
