Free Movie Screening (And Michael Jackson Dance Party)

Last week, Brooklyn Vegan posted about a free movie screening at the Knitting Factory this evening which caught our eye. Boy, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, is a hilarious and heartfelt coming-of-age tale about heroes, magic, and Michael Jackson! You can read the full synopsis here.

Seating is first come, first serve. The screening starts at 8PM and is followed by a Michael Jackson dance party!

Sunflower Seed Exhibit In Chelsea

Tomorrow is the last day you can check out Sunflower Seeds, an installation at the Mary Boone Gallery (541 West 24th Street) featuring millions of hand painted porcelain seeds. The exhibit debuted at the Tate Modern in London in 2010.
