Fireworks For The Statue Of Liberty's 125th Birthday
Fireworks at the end of October are a rarity in New York City, but this evening prepare for a show along the backdrop of the Statue Of Liberty. In celebration of the landmark's 125th birthday, the sky will light up with more than 5,000 rockets starting at 7:45PM.

Citi Pond at Bryant Park Opens Today
The Pond at Bryant Park opens for the winter season today! The ice skating rink will be open for locals and tourists to skate for free through February. Although it's the city's only free ice skating rink, skate rentals will run you $14 -- still one of the cheaper options for showing off your triple axle.
