Great Music + Haiti Benefits Tonight

Some great music I thought I'd introduce you to today.

First -- my favorite album of the year so far is by a little band from Queens. They're called Freelance Whales and they're awesome. Their album Weathervanes is on sale for $5.00 here. You can stream samples of every song and you can also check out live acoustic tracks of some of the album's songs here. Cool?

They're performing at a great Haiti benefit tonight at The Bell House with the likes of Jimmy Fallon, Ted Leo, The Walkmen, Jim Gaffigan and others. It's $50. Free food. Great acts. And a good cause. Worth it if you ask me.

If $50 is not in your budget, head to Williamsburg for a free show tonight by another one of my favorite artists: Kevin Devine. He'll be playing at Brooklyn Bowl at 8PM. Suggested donations to support relief efforts in Haiti will be collected at the door.

If you don't have plans this evening, you should make sure you check out one of these shows.

Whats the difference between a golf ball and a car?

Tiger can drive a golf ball 300 yards!!

Clearly, I will not be performing this evening.
