Yipit: Customizing Deals Just For You

When we first told you about Yipit earlier this year, there were only a handful of online group purchasing sites. Groupon, BuyWithMe and TheDealist are still some of the most popular, but have you heard of Village Vines and ScoutMob? Didn't think so! There are actually more than 110 active sites that publish 300 daily deals.

But there's no need to visit all of them each day...

Yipit aggregates all of the deals out there and recommends specific deals to you according to your interests. For example: massages and manicures aren't my thing, but recent deals such as a coupon from Dinosaur BBQ and $1 movie tickets were right up my alley.

You can sign up for Yipit's e-mail list by clicking here.

Remember -- all of the deals will be customized according to what you like do and where you like to hang out!

New York Vs. Chicago Pizza T-Shirt

Pizza. It's the topic of so many food discussions and debates. And now Chicago t-shirt company Scared Panda has decided to create a t-shirt to celebrate the epic battle between the thin New York slice and the deep dish Chicago slice. How cool!

The t-shirt company focuses on connecting with local artists to create shirts based on their experiences. The artists also have the chance to pick a charity to which 10% of the sales of the t-shirts they design go to. Scared Panda hopes to begin selling more New York inspired t-shirts soon!

In the meantime, visit their website and make sure to pick up once of these awesome pizza shirts! Ten percent of the proceeds will go to the Anti-Cruelty Society which is committed to serving the needs of companion animals and the humans who care for them.

Want one for free? Today we send you to the IDREAMOFPIZZA Facebook page, where you'll find a posting about Scared Panda. In the comments section, let us know what the first thing that comes to mind is when you think about pandas. You'll automatically be entered to win a free pizza t-shirt from the company -- we'll pick a winner this afternoon!

Congrats to Sean who correctly guessed (via our Facebook Page) that my favorite milkshake flavor is mint chocolate chip. And congrats to Yee-Ning who won our Milkshake Mad Libs contest. We got tons of great entries (you guys are quite imaginative!), but in the end, we decided our favorite was: My milkshake brings all the cows to the barn. Enjoy and stay tuned for future contests!!

UPDATE: 06/07, 3:29PM: Due to some technological issues with the site early this morning, Kool Bloo has been kind enough to extend this deal until 7PM tomorrow (Tuesday). Enjoy!

Kool Bloo is a new fast food chain that creatively combines lean meats, fresh produce, and natural ingredients in its dishes. They have four locations (Gramercy, Murray Hill, East Village, and SoHo) and you can order your food online for pickup or delivery.

It's also worth mentioning that for the rest of June, Kool Bloo is having a "Lunchtime Happy Hour" on weekdays from 11:00AM - 2:00PM. You can get a 25% discount on all delivery orders with the code HAPPYHOUR.

If that's not enough, we're giving away two $25 credits for food at Kool Bloo!! Here's how you can win:

Way 2: Send an e-mail to with "Milkshake" in the subject line. I love Mad Libs, so in the body of the e-mail fill in the sentence below with your most clever words and/or phrases. We'll pick a winner at the end of the day to receive a $25 Kool Bloo credit. The sentence is: My milkshake brings all the ______ to the _______.
