Parked: A Celebration Of NYC's Best Food Trucks

One of my favorite events of the year is Parked, which takes place this afternoon at BKLYN YARD (388–400 Carroll Street near Bond Street) and features some of the city's best food trucks. Not only are Pizza Moto, Green Pirate Juice Truck, and Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream returning this year, but there are a bunch of new vendors on board including Rickshaw Dumplings and Steve's Key Lime Pie.

Take it from us... if you want to avoid lines more than an hour long, you better get there when doors open at noon

Slice Out Hunger: $1 Pizza For A Good Cause This Evening

Tonight, Scott's Pizza Tours celebrates their two year anniversary with a special event in the West Village. From 6:30PM - 9:00PM, head over to the GAP Adventures offices (364 6th Avenue) where some of New York's most famous pizza places will be selling slices for $1.00. Many of these places -- like Lombardi's -- don’t even sell pizza by the slice normally! The best part is that every single penny is being donated to City Harvest.

And if that's not enough, an exhibit Scott put together called “Pizza Boxes of the World,” will be on display featuring international pizza boxes from Hungary, China, Czech Republic and more!

If you do make it out, hit me up on Twitter and your first slice is on me!

Unless you've been living under a Black Rock, you probably know that LOST ends tonight with some 6 hours of LOST related television on ABC. There are some cool LOST parties going on, but honestly... we suggest getting together with your close LOST buddies and watching Jack kill Locke in the confines of your home.

But seriously... if you're still longing for some more LOST in your life after tonight, check out the LOST installation at the Vilcek Foundation through June 5th. We hear there are tons of LOST artifacts there including a Dharma van!

Stunning NYC Photo Exihibit In Chelsea

Now through Friday, take advantage of your last chance to see a great exhibit at the Yancy Richardson Gallery in Chelsea. Photos of New York from artist Oliver Barbieri are on display, but there's a catch: the photos were taken from a helicopter using a six-by-eight view camera -- giving the photos an unusual distortion and turning them into what appears to be model representations of the action below.

Free Tours Of The Little Red Lighthouse

The Little Red Lighthouse, a small lighthouse located on the Hudson River, opens for free tours today from 1-4PM, meaning you'll have the chance to climb to the top and enjoy one of city's most beautiful views. The lighthouse was made famous by the 1942 children's book The Little Red Lighthouse and The Great Gray Bridge.

The Little Red Lighthouse stands on a small point called Jeffrey’s Hook at the base of the eastern pier of the George Washington Bridge, which connects the Washington Heights neighborhood in Manhattan to Fort Lee, New Jersey. The shoreline north and south of the lighthouse makes up Fort Washington Park. Access to the lighthouse is either via a steep footpath leading down from the north side of the bridge or, somewhat more easily, via the riverside promenade leading south to Riverside Park and Riverbank State Park.
