Event Horizon Art Exhibit In Madison Square Park

Recently Antony Gormley's Event Horizon was installed in Madison Square Park. It's a public art exhibit much more exciting than the Central Park gates or East River waterfalls if you ask me. This exhibit actually utilizes the city landscape, as 31 life-size iron bodies have been set up to inhabit the pathways and sidewalks of historic Madison Square Park, as well as Flatiron District rooftops. The next time you're standing in line for Shake Shake, marvel at the sites around you.

This work forces you to look up and seek. In doing that you not only discover the bodies in a Wheres Waldo way,you also see the spacial art of the skyline. It's both entertaining and everchanging. It's both eriie and etherial. I highly recommend it.
