A Happy New Year's Message!

Hey all!

It's rare that I get an opportunity to send out a personal message to everyone, but in lieu of a deal today I wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year. I hope everyone has some fun plans in the works for tomorrow night.

Thanks for visiting NYCDAILYDEALS so often over the past year. And thanks for all your "retweets" on Twitter, visiting our Facebook Fan Page, and for sharing our deals with your friends and coworkers. Hopefully you found out about some cool events because of the site... saved a few bucks on food and drinks... and even downloaded new music or discovered an artist you like.

When I started this site back in 2008, my goal was to provide New Yorkers living on a budget with something cheap to take advantage of every single day of the year. In 2009, the site featured 412 deals. And we're just getting started.

We'll be back on Monday with even bigger and better deals in 2010. Hope to see you then.

Happy Holidays,

Jason

Free Admission To EastVille Comedy Club On New Year's Eve

All year the folks at EastVille Comedy Club have been kind enough to extend special offers to readers of NYCDAILYDEALS. You've seen their great shows for free and just because it's New Year's Eve it doesn't mean they're hiking up their prices for all of you.

In fact, if you mention NYCDAILYDEALS when you make a reservation for the 8PM show on 12/31 (phone at 212-260-2445 / e-mail at eastvillecomedy@yahoo.com), they'll waive the $20 cover charge. Beverages start at $5.00 so you'll have no problem meeting their 2 drink minimum. The show will end by 10PM, leaving enough time to go watch the ball drop or celebrate at a local bar. Here's who you'll see on New Year's Eve:

Nate Bargatze
(Conan O'Brien, Comedy Central)

Nicole Korkolis
(Graham Norton Effect CNBC's The Big Idea, National Lampoon TV)

Croxley Ales -- which typically serves up dirt cheap wings -- is running an even more amazing special that ends this week: 10 cent wings on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night. So many nights to choose from!

They're deeming this promotion "The Ultimate Triple Threat" and to fully take advantage, I think you should go all three nights! But for starters, you can check out the Vikings Vs. Bears tonight in the final Monday Night Football game of the season.
