Birthday Specials! Free Food & Drinks

Today is my birthday. Awesome.

Birthdays are fun because there are lots of free things that people want to give you. For example:

If you join the Cold Stone Creamery Birthday Club, you can swing by for free ice cream. Not to be outdone, Baskin Robbins also gives away free scoops to anyone who joins its Birthday Club. Quizno's will give you a free cookie on your birthday if you sign up for their QClub.

And what's a birthday without a bit of liquor? At Cheap Shots in the East Village, you can drink for free all night long on your special day.

Here is a list of some bars where you can drink for free if you bring along some of your pals.

Free Unlimited Wine W/ Dinner At The Cottage

Normally when people stick flyers under my door they end up right in the garbage. Last week, however, I came across a menu from The Cottage -- a Chinese restaurant that offers unlimited free wine with dinner. There is one location on the Upper West Side and another downtown on Irving Place. Reviews on Yelp confirm the awesomeness:

unlike other free wine joints, the cottage drops that carafe of sparkling golden elixir even before your food shows up. and they stay on top of it, too. i timed it tonight and it only took two minutes from emptying the vessel until it was refilled and placed next to me, glistening drops of condensation running down the side of my moment of pure happiness.

Great Hamburger Coupons Throughout NYC

There's no food I like more than burgers (okay, other than pizza, that is). I was happy to learn that the Burger Of The Month Club is offering exclusive coupons to some of my favorite burger places which you can access below. Swing by this holiday weekend to take advantage.

Ever since they were featured in the New York Times earlier this year, I have to say I've been a bit obsessed. They put to shame the pizza club I run.

If you were stuck on and island and had the option of eating pizza or a burger for you last meal, which would it be? :)

COUPONS:

Bobby Van's Grille
burger joint
City Hall
Donovan’s Pub
Peter Luger’s
Primehouse New York
Royale
