First Ever Ice Box Derby Race In Central Park

Check out New York's first ever Ice Box Derby Race today! It starts at 2 PM and the meeting place is 5th Avenue (Central Park East) at 104th Street.

The instructions were to "create a soapbox vehicle, a sled with caster wheels, a big wheel with skis, trike with tin foil or some similar creation that can roll and slide."

LOST! Where you should watch TV's best show

It's unfortunate that I have yet to dedicate a post to LOST, perhaps the best show ever! If you're a fan and don't enjoy watching alone in the dark, consider checking out Hurley and company with a group.

The largest gathering in the city can be found on Meetup.com. You can also check out Professor Thom's in the Village which serves up free jungle juice shots (we imagine this has to do with the fact that part of the show takes place in a jungle... er... on an island).

A large crowd came out to Bell House last week as well, so keep your eye out for occasional gatherings there for you Brooklynites.
