Swing by the Museum Of The City of New York and check out Legacy: The Preservation of Wilderness in New York City Parks which features the photography of Joel Meyerowitz, who has spent more than three years documenting green spaces throughout the five boroughs.

There's a suggested admission charge, but mention “I’m a neighbor” and even that will be waived.
