There are so many awesome deals taking place today, we thought we give you two!

If it's nice out, head over to Governor's Island for Improv Everywhere's MP3 Experiment, where hundreds of New Yorkers will download an Mp3 from the group's website, load it onto their iPods, and then press play simultaneously at the pre-appointed time. Last year's event in Battery Park City had over 800 people participating. To download the song and for all the details, click here.

If it rains...

The festivities at Governor's Island will still be taking place, but you might not feel like getting wet. If that's the case, click here to download a pass that will grant you free admission into dozens of New York museums and cultural institutions. It's all part of the Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day.

Didn't have enough pizza at O'Hanlon's yesterday? Believe it or not... even though a slice of pizza in New York can now run you up to $4.00, a place still exists where every slice is 99 cents. Make your way over to the corner of 41st St. and 9th Ave and see what we mean. Check out what people on YELP have to say here, and go treat yourself to some cheap pizza!

Sunday, September 14, 2008

O'Hanlon's, an Irish bar in the Village (349 East 14th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue) shows all the NFL games each week. But there is a problem... they don't serve any food. Have no fear! During halftime of the 1:00 PM game (that's around 2:15 for you non-football folks) they order in free pizza for everyone at the bar. So if you happen to conveniently swing by the bar then... looks like you might find yourself some free lunch!

Tip: Wear a football jersey for camouflage.
